I was inspired to create the "I Love It" exhibition by an encounter I had over 10 years ago with a very poor black and white reproduction of John William Waterhouse's painting "Hylas and the Nymphs".
This poor quality copy of a famous work made a strong impression on me. The resulting experience often comes back to my mind. It seems to me as a real contact with art coinciding with the contemporary situation in which the viewer sees most exhibitions through the plane of the screen.
